Vendor Information & Booth Registration
The Young Makers Market is a dedicated kids marketplace at Vintage in the Hudson Valley, created to support creativity, entrepreneurship, confidence, and community. Kids bring the magic—handmade goods, art, crafts, small vintage finds (age-appropriate), and bright ideas.
This is a family-led experience. Parents/guardians remain responsible for supervision, setup, and support the entire time—while kids get the joy of engaging with attendees and learning by doing.

Handmade goods, art, crafts, and small creative products
Participation is open to children and teens whose projects are primarily youth-created and youth-led, with guidance and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
Sibling Participation:
Siblings may share a booth together, provided the project is youth-led and a parent or legal guardian remains present at all times. Only one booth reservation is required for siblings sharing a space.

Kids booths are offered in half-day shifts. Each purchase reserves one shift only.

You’re welcome to reserve multiple shifts by purchasing additional booth products during checkout based on availability.

Parent & Guardian Responsibilities
Guardian Supervision
A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site at all times during participation in the Young Makers Market.
Vintage in the Hudson Valley does not provide childcare, supervision, financial oversight, or transaction handling. Guardians remain fully responsible for their child’s safety, conduct, products, and interactions throughout the event.

Event organizers reserve the right to remove any item or participant that poses a safety, legal, or community concern.
Terms & Conditions
Participation in the Young Makers Market requires agreement to the
Vintage in the Hudson Valley – Kids Entrepreneur Program Terms & Conditions. These terms outline guardian responsibilities, supervision requirements, assumption of risk, prohibited items, media release, and participation guidelines.
By reserving a booth, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full.

Where the Young Makers Market will be located
The Kids Marketplace is located outdoors in the designated Young Makers Market area. Final placement and booth map will be shared closer to the event.

FAQ's
Do parents need to stay with their child?
Yes. A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site at all times during participation.
Is there an age limit to participate?
The Young Makers Market is designed for children and teens. Projects should be primarily youth-created and youth-led.
Can my child sell food (baked goods, lemonade, etc.)?
No. Food and beverages intended for consumption are not permitted in the Kids Marketplace.
What should we bring for our booth?
Participants should bring their own table(s), displays, and any materials needed for setup and sales.
What happens during the midday break for full-day booths?
From 1:00–2:00 PM, children may rest, eat, or step away from selling. Sales resume at 2:00 PM.
Are booth purchases refundable?
No. Booth purchases are final and non-refundable.
Is this market competitive?
No. The Young Makers Market is educational and community-focused, not competitive.
Can my child leave their booth unattended?
No. Children may not leave their booth unattended at any time. A parent or legal guardian must remain present and responsible for the booth and participant throughout their session.
What happens if we arrive late or leave early?
Late arrival or early departure does not qualify for a refund or credit. Booth access is provided for the full session purchased, but participation timing is at the discretion of the family.
What happens if we can’t make it after purchasing?
All sales are subject to the Terms & Conditions you agree to at checkout and in the Kids Booth Form. Booth fees are generally non-refundable and the Organizer is not responsible for circumstances like weather, travel issues, illness, or changes in participation.
Are sales guaranteed?
No. This is a community event and we cannot guarantee traffic, sales, earnings, or placement results.
Can siblings share a booth?
Yes — siblings may share a booth as long as one guardian is supervising and the products remain appropriate and clearly organized.
If you want sibling names listed, add them in the form.
Can adults sell items on behalf of the child?
No. Adults may assist with setup and supervision, but the booth must remain primarily youth-led. Adult-run businesses or adult inventory are not permitted in the Young Makers Market.
Can we buy more than one shift?
Yes — if additional shifts are available, you can reserve more than one by purchasing additional booth products at checkout. We cannot guarantee the same booth number across shifts unless it’s still available when purchased.
What if my child becomes overwhelmed or wants to stop early?
That’s completely okay. Children may take breaks or stop participating at any time.
Participation is voluntary, and families are encouraged to follow their child’s comfort level.
Are tents required for Young Makers Market booths?
Tents are optional unless otherwise specified. Families may bring tents for shade, provided they are properly weighted and do not obstruct walkways or neighboring booths.
Do you provide tables, chairs, tents, or displays?
No — vendors provide their own setup items unless otherwise announced.
What happens in the event of severe weather?
Vintage in the Hudson Valley is a rain-or-shine event. In the case of severe weather, event organizers will provide guidance on safety procedures. Booth purchases remain non-refundable.
Is electricity provided?
No. Electricity is not provided in the Young Makers Market. Battery-powered devices are permitted.
Are cash handling and payments supervised by the event?
No. All transactions are handled solely by the child and guardian. The event does not provide cash handling, change, payment processing, or financial oversight.
Can we decorate or customize our booth space?
Yes, within reason. Decorations must remain within the booth footprint and may not damage the grounds, obstruct walkways, or interfere with neighboring booths.
Does the event provide insurance for participants?
No. Participation is voluntary, and guardians assume all risks associated with public event participation. The event does not provide insurance coverage for individual booths, products, or participants.
Will you take photos/video of the kids?
Yes — by participating, guardians agree to the media release described in the Terms & Conditions.
